Modern Slavery Act Statement
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Act”) and constitutes the slavery and human trafficking statement for the last financial year ending 31 December 2023 for Attestor Limited (“Attestor”).
Attestor is an FCA-authorised firm whose sole business activity is alternative investment management. Attestor has given consideration to Section 54 (Transparency in Supply Chains) of the Act.
Attestor does not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking and takes a risk-based approach to its supply chain, including making enquiries where it is considered necessary to do so. Attestor expects all of its suppliers, and their supply chains, to comply with such values.
The nature of our business means that Attestor does not have complex supply chains and does not procure material services from suppliers located in high risk countries. Attestor sources its services from the UK and other low-risk countries such as Ireland, the United States of America and the Cayman Islands where modern slavery is not prevalent. Our suppliers are predominantly regulated financial and professional services companies, including banks, data service providers, technology providers, fund administration services, accountants and law firms. Attestor also engages suppliers of equipment, maintenance and support services for our office location in London. Attestor views its risk of modern slavery through employment or contracting as low risk as it has policies and procedures that include provisions for background screening, assessing candidates' right to work in the UK, equal opportunities, and whistleblowing.
Attestor encourages employees to report any potential instances of modern slavery to management. Attestor continues to look for ways to improve its approach to eradicate modern slavery and ensure that its policies and procedures are robust and effective in doing so.
The Board of Directors of Attestor has reviewed and approved this Modern Slavery Act Statement on behalf of Attestor.
